The film follows a struggling working-class family in Egypt. During a children’s birthday party, an authoritarian father is accidentally turned into a chicken by a bumbling magician. This surreal transformation serves as a dark allegory for the rigid patriarchal structures and economic hardships faced by women in Egyptian society.
