Unlike many shooters where you are a powerhouse, Generation Zero forces you to play as a survivor. In the beginning, you are outgunned and outnumbered.
You can’t just run and gun. You must use flares, boomboxes, and fireworks to distract the machines, then target their specific weak points (like fuel tanks or optical sensors).
When Generation Zero launched in March 2019, it offered a hauntingly beautiful, if desolate, vision of 1980s Sweden. Developed by Systemic Reaction (a creative division of Avalanche Studios), the game presents a unique "Tactical Stealth-Action" experience that pits teenagers against a mysterious mechanical invasion.
