Gintama Episode 21 May 2026

The Yorozuya office is unbearable due to a massive heatwave. After Gintoki and Kagura fight over their only electric fan and break it, Gintoki heads out to buy a replacement.

This episode is unique because it also features a notable bonus segment involving a "Kappa" of the lake. The Yorozuya crew encounters an Amanto that resembles a mythical kappa, leading to several fourth-wall-breaking gints about legend-making and strange fish.

A pun-based misunderstanding occurs: Gintoki wants a "senpuki" (electric fan), but the woman thinks he is asking for the "senpuki" (a counterfeit-gold machine) created by her inventor father. Gintama Episode 21

Gintoki gets caught up in a syndicate's plot to use the machine. In true Gintama fashion, he ends up destroying the massive cat-shaped machine after realizing it isn't an actual fan.
