Following the news of the hero Julius’s death, his younger brother Schlain (Shun) is officially named the new Hero. The kingdom is in turmoil as half of their eight major fortresses have already fallen to the demon army. Shun meets Ronandt , the palace mage and Julius’s former mentor, who is deeply shaken by the recent losses.
