The story follows (Jack Huston) and Ruby Red (Willa Fitzgerald), a newly engaged couple in a rough town struggling with opioid addiction. With the support of Ruby’s brother-in-law, Peter (John Malkovich), the two decide to get clean and start a family.
Tragedy strikes before Ruby can fulfill her wish of being baptized in the river to wash away her past sins. Shelby finds her dead on their porch from an overdose. Overcome by rage, Shelby embarks on a vigilante killing spree, using a nail gun and adrenaline to systematically pick off every dealer and junkie in the supply chain.
