Jason leads Sookie to a mysterious faerie nightclub where they find their cousin Hadley. There, they meet Claude, who reveals that their parents were actually murdered by a vampire drawn to the bridge by the scent of Sookie's blood on a discarded Band-Aid.

After a struggle where Sookie uses her faerie powers to repel him, the Vampire Authority arrives to take Russell into custody.
